Women Spacewalk Record
Williams broke the previous women's spacewalking record of more than 21 hours when she and Michael Lopez-Alegria completed the second of what could be a precedent-setting three spacewalks in nine days. The new record of 22 hours and 27 minutes includes her two most recent walks, as well as a spacewalk in December.

Okay, its very cool that she broke the space walk record for a woman. The problem is that it is for a woman. Let me explain. Records should not be segmented as mens or womens, but equally, a record is a record no matter the sex of the person who does it. If its just a womans record, it feel devalued and not as important as a mans record. This type of segregation promotes the inequality of the sexes in my opinion.
