BEIJING (Reuters) - The world's largest restaurant chain, McDonald's Corp., has been ordered to pay a student some 2,200 yuan ($290) after a rat bit her at one of its outlets in northeastern China, media reported on Sunday.

It's a shame that a huge company as financially backed and secure as McDonalds is should haggle over the price they paid out in this nasty instance, especially as the payout requested was so low to start with.
If this had happened in America, you can bet that you could add at least one extra '0' on to the end of that payout!
It must have been such a horrible experience for the young woman concerned.

The Management for Mac Donald's is atrocious. They do not seem the least bit concerned that the restaurant's reputation is suffering from this constant negative press. It is painfully obvious that clients are not a priority for this Fast food giant.
