There are many games you can play on top of a family table, but which one do you prefer the most and why?
Card refers to Uno, Old Maid and standard
Paper refers to all games requiring to make notes like most RPGs, pictionary and word
Board refers to Monopoly, Sorry, Life, etc.
Dice refers to games of chance that require dice rolls such as a home built casino

I like card games the best. Rummy, Poker, BlackJack are all favorites of mine. There are also so many other card games that one can find out about and play and learn. Board games would be second best, followed by Paper and dice games. |
I would have to say that I like board games the best. Chess, backgammon, chinese checkers, etc. I really like Yahtzee, which is a dice game, as you have to use some real strategy in choosing how to use the dice. But that is the only dice game I like.
I would have to say that card games come next, especially games such as Uno and Phase 10.
I occasionally like to play paper games, but mostly logic-based games such as numerical crosswords, logic puzzles, etc.
I like board games the best. We have a variety of board games that are really fun to play, some of which are not common board games. My current favorites are Wild Animalopoly, House Rules, Lord of the Rings Monopoly, Apples to Apples, and classic Pictionary. Often, that is what our children would prefer to play. Card games comes in at a close second. We mostly like card games that are not played with a regular deck of cards, though. We have Milles Bournes, Uno, Attack Uno, a special Go Fish deck, a special Crazy Eights deck, and several others. Paper games would be third and dice would be fourth, since we rarely if ever play a game of dice, unless the dice are part of another game.
Paper ...board...card...dice in that order. Dungeons and dragons is the best game ever. Warhammer is fun however very expensive. Poker, blackjack and craps are definitely games of skill despite having a bit of chance invovled.
