Sirandlady Introduction

Minor Points of Interest about me:

- I am a father of 2 married in Portland Temple
- Currently living in Salt Lake City.
- Returned Missionary Merida Mexico.
- Attending School for 4 year to obtain B.S. Computer Science.
- Currently Working as a Medical Insurance Claim Adjuster.

I enjoy all kinds of sports especially Basketball and Slingshot Paintball.
I enjoy tinkering around with puzzles that range from blacksmith puzzles to chess to programming. To me, they're all the same. Tinker to unravel. I drive over the speed limit frequently but slow down if I see a policeman or pass an area a police car is usually sitting.

I just learned that this thing has to be at least 15 words long... interesting is all I have to say. I guess I'll pose a few questions while I am at this:

1 - I wanted to know about the mature board. Does it contain deeper doctrine topics than the deep doctrine board or is it more as it's name implies, mature?

2 - You have to be at least a premium member(and meet other requirements) or does that only "help" in determining if you are "mature" enough?

The reason for that is so that you do not get answers to Threads like "Yes", "No", "I do not know", "I do not agree", "Cool", and so forth. Each Post is constructive, at least it is supposed to be.

It is both. There are topics about abuse, intimacy, Church History and so forth. One should be well grounded in the Gospel before entering here.

Upgrading is the start. Basically you need to show you are mature enough by posting comments in the LDS Deep Doctrine Board. By your posts we can tell if you are capable of handling what will be seen and Discussed in the LDS Mature Board - this stops users from merely joining and upgrading immediately for curiosity's sake. The LDS Mature Board is NOT for the curious.

Thanks for the reply. I wish I didnt have to upgrade to souly gain access to that board... especially that board - but the law is the law.

Then you should NOT Upgrade. Upgrading in this Community is a donation. You are not paying for services, you are donating to our efforts here (Please read info place in the Donation / Contribution page). Only those who find our work well worth the effort should donate.

My honest opinion is that you should just stay with the regular Discussion, in fact there are many public access LDS Boards here that are full of Topics that are already deep, maybe you can participate in those, get a feel for the Forum and then see if it is WORTH your donation. If it is not, then nothing lost.
