Is it safe to eat a cow that has died due to reaching its' age?

I am not sure about it. I know most cows do not reach that age a bull may and I have not heard of anyone eating a bull that has died of old age.

If I was bad off I sure would be trying to eat it. Problem is the beast is full of blood that is gong to cause sever rot in a hurry so one would have to cut it up real fast and hope it bleeds well enough. Definitely would all have to be slow cooked immediately. This is assuming it was old age of course....vindaloo forever ! Also wash that sucker in tons of vinegar.
