BRANSON OFFERS $25M PRIZE TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE
British airline tycoon Richard Branson announced a $25-million prize for the first person or group to find a way to remove billions of tonnes of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.

Awesome! Other than consumers demanding and paying more for "green technology", this is how there will be significant advancements in reducing greenhouse gases and believe it or not a whole lot cheaper than what the governments will propose. Normally, celebrities and billionares like him just talk about it being nice to clean up the world and cut a check to some poorly managed group that spends most of it on themselves. This is an excellent way to cut the waste and stir up some interest from clever minds around the world.
This will be a great one to watch. I've read some pretty wild hypothetical methods in the past, including a type of algae that could be spread aloft - causing, among other things, green skies rather than blue Should be a great competition. Maybe something useful will actually come of it.
