Inn Days

It has been quite some time since I have stayed at a Days Inn but this is the best that I remember.

1. Cost per night

I believe that I payed $59.00 Per night, it was very economically priced in comparison to the other hotels in the area. (DFW metro area)

2. Value for money

Very good value for the money.

3. Service and hospitality

Service and Hospitality I believe is going to vary greatly depending on your location but I found service to be about 3 starts and hospitality about the same. It was by far not the worst service I have ever had but I have honestly had better at other lodgings.

4. Facilities and conveniences

Like any smaller hotel, facilities were available such as ice machine, coke machine, coffee pots, lounge, business office, workout room, ect. however they like so commonly are nothing to send a postcard home about.

5. Accommodation, room size, etc.

Accommodation, everything that I needed was available to me without very much problem at all. Room size was definitely above average. Bathroom size was about average.

Overall I give it a 3 star rating for comfort and a 5 star rating for value for price.

Days Inn Reviews Consumer & Travel Family Culture

We stayed at a Days Inn, in Florida a couple of years ago,I can quite honestly say that it was the worst place that we have ever stayed.
In fairness, we haven't stayed at one anywhere else, so we could have just been unlucky.
I'll rate it as fairly as I can though!

1. Cost per night

We payed for a package of flight and hotel accommodation through a UK travel agent, so not sure on the breakdown of this.

2. Value for money

I don't know what percentage of the cost went on the accommodation, but whatever amount it was, it was too much!

3. Service and hospitality

The service was terrible, we had clothing stolen out of our room by hotel staff, and one of the staff even brushed their teeth with my toothbrush--and left blood on it!
When we went to complain, we had to join the huge queue of other people waiting to complain!

4. Facilities and conveniences

We didn't use the pool after we found out that alligators used it for having their babies in (as the water was so warm) There also was supposed to be ice machines on every block, but they had them removed as they kept getting vandalized.

5. Accommodation, room size, etc.

In fairness, the room size was more than adequate, but there was a gaping big hole under the door where bugs kept getting in, the mattresses were badly blood stained, and the toilet wasn't fitted properly, and tilted every time you sat on it laugh.gif

Apart from that, we enjoyed the holiday *laughs*-- needless to say, we won't be staying again.

Inn Days

We stayed at a Days Inn during one of our vacations. I didn't have as many problems as DianeC did, but our experience there has caused us not to return since.

1. Cost per night
From what I remember, the cost was under average for the hotels in that area

2. Value for money
It was primarily somewhere to sleep at night, and nothing more, so yes, we got value for our money.

3. Service and hospitality
The service was horrible. The incident I referred to above had to do with charges on my credit card. They basically charged us before they were supposed to, then did nothing to rectify this and basically tried to call us liars. All I remember was storming out of there and vowing never to return. I did report the incident to a district manager, but got no response.

4. Facilities and conveniences
The facilities were sub-par and as for convenience, they didn't provide any amenities that I found convenient. About the only convenience was their location, which was in close proximity to the area we were visiting.

5. Accommodation, room size, etc.
I remember the room was barely large enough for all of us, and walking around was tricky.
