Attacking someone to half value (+/-) is the game script's default. I guess it is a preventative method for disallowing a very strong kingdom from destroying everyone under it. However, keep in mind that once a kingdom's worth is lowered it then falls in line with other kingdoms who's worth is the same and thus can be attacked by them.
JB:
What I am saying is that once the criteria is reached for the initial attack (the scripted 1/2 value), I can continue attacking and bring the other kingdom well below the 1/2 my current value. Once I leave that page that give me the option to "repeat", then I cannot attack the other kingdom, but if I had stayed there, I could just keep doing it and doing it until I was told I attacked them too much and stopped.
That is fine, to keep it as realistic there are times when you are able to annihilate a Kingdom and times when you cannot. It is up to everyone to keep many soldiers and have them well equipped since they are the ones that stop this from happening.
Also keep in mind that as you attack, and the enemy defends you are both losing worth at the same time. This irronically allows you to keep attacking because you are both always in arrange. This is especially true with armies that have the same strength.
Rather off topic, but... You can answer / comment on this in the Rant Thread, but you seem to have fallen back a lot, what is the matter, too much wolf attacks? |
I think that an attack option should be given no matter how far apart the worthiness factor is between kingdoms - not so? This means no matter how far or low a kingdom is they can still be hurt - just as in real life. The factor to stop abuse should be based on one of two things:
1. Only when you are at 200 Turns
2. You have to pay money to do so (probably a lot of money)
What does everyone think?

I would agree, that way we all could attack you.. er um I mean who ever is above or below us. But maybe cap it at 60-90 turns ( max. 10-15 attacks on a single player in a twenty four hour period?) instead of 200, that way those who start the game latter on may not be totally destroyed right away and quit/abandon the game. It could also push the alliance feature.
Thanks for the feedback. By 200 turns I meant you will only be able to do this ONCE if you are at 200 turns and not less. So if you used up some turns doing 'x' then you would have to wait til your account has built up to 200 before you could use this option.
Rather off topic, but... I do not see you participating much in the game, did my BIG worth score scare you? |

Rather off topic, but... No, if I participated anymore my wife and boss would kill me. I'm in the game several times a day but every time I get near those above me we wipe each other out! It's been a vicious battle for third! |

If you cannot afford current prices then it is likely that you still need to build up basic items, so if you cannot build let's say at least your own Mansion then you need to concentrate on the necessary first since after acquiring these things you are caught with another price: maintenance.
Rather off topic, but... Oh, to me every time I check the third place people seem to be at the same stage - never dwelt in a tent before so I do not know how it goes down. Too busy managing my mansion. |
