One Hit Wonder

One minute a artist is blazing the charts with a hit song. The next minute everyone is saying what ever happened to that person. Are they still alive ? I think Ricky Martin was a one hit wonder. Yeah he was the guy who sang Living Mi Vida Loca. Does anyone else know any one hit wonders floating around out there ?

Wonder Hit One

When I think of one hit wonders, two artists/songs come to mind right away:

1. Achy Breaky Heart - I forget who the artist was, but this song was such a huge hit and was played on the radio endlessly.

2. Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice - probably one of the biggest one hit wonders ever seen. His career after this song was a total flop.

There are plenty of other one hit wonders, but those are the 2 that stand out for me.

Those are good examples. I also remember how popular "The Macerena" by Los Del Rio became. It was played everywhere. After a while, I got sick of hearing that song, and I never heard another song by them again. Another song is "Who let the Dogs Out" by the Baha Men. Same story, in my opinion of course.

"I'm to sexy" by Right Said Fred. That was a good one his wonder. Come to mention it, Sir Mix A Lot only had one hit, "Baby Got Back". Every one knows that song!

I'm too sexy for this post!

This is why I'm Hot - MIMS

This track was absolutely popular back in the day. People were singing it from all over the world. Too bad MIMS never came out with nothing after that.
