Manxybabes Introduction

Hi - my friends refer to me as Manx - I live in the United Kingdom in the West Midlands. I'm retired due to my disability but I was an unregistered ParaLegal Executive involved in many exciting avenues and stories throughout my work but most of all I specialised in helping people with disabilities acquire Disability Living Allowance and Attendance Allowance from filling in forms to representation at Tribunal, going to County Court, acting as a Primary Advocate in Magistrates Courts and Attending Newspaper House in London to overturn Disability Living Allowance legislation!
I'm also known as MistyMorningDuo - I'm a Tyros Keyboard Player and each year I produce Christian's Melody - the word Christian mean's for those of us who believe in God, he is known as many names but your God is also our God, by one and the same name, and Christian who is my Grandson but born on Milenium Eve to the twentieth century! MMD still continues to play and write music and lyrics.
I am disabled with Sjogren's Disease/Atrophy, Primary Hypothyroidism, PolyArthropathy(feet) - these things are all involved in the Sjogren's Disease, dry eyes, dry mouth - sometimes I get serious chest infections and have nebuliser treatment. I am able to move around, I also have a call alarm service, I have walking stick for short distance, for long distances I use a wheelchair, I have aids like stair/bath lift at home. I move on with my life, although I've taken a year out of studies, I'm registered in Open University and at Stage 1 to do BA in Law and Understanding Health and Social Care in the community - I am also LDS.
So join me in discussion, plenty to be said, my faith has meant so much to me, my friends on line also do, and joining International Discussions, I hope to make many more friends - being on line helps pass the day away as I am now retired and at home although, if I do get my degree, I shall strive to open an office from home again where I used to work from in the past. Looking forward to meeting you. Sincerely, yours - Manxy. ps, that's all you need to know about me laugh.gif!

Manxybabes Introduction Introductions & Member Sharing

To the person who said my last comment was not constructive.

You do not read my introduction for you will know that I am disabled.

Furthermore, it has taken a long time to Read the Book Of Mormon and for me to find the Abrhamic Document - I was highly delighted - I couldn't have done that without the knowlege I acquired from the computer.

Therefore, I disagree with your comment, I wrote my first Sermon - About the Twelve Aposotles, and I put it in such away everyone understood what I was saying, and easy for people with disabilities to understand - you can be too constructive - unlike most people in our congregation based at Utah, I don't have a degree - I have tried to get one but each time my disability throws me back.

No doubt this comment will be struck off as well.

I can't attend Chapel cos of my disability - home tuition is great and the misisionaries call three times a week to make sure I'm okay - they understand.

I hope you do?

Sincerely yours,ManxyBabes
