THOUGHTS FROM ADMIN

Sometimes you come across so many interesting people
over the net, yes there are the likable, but they are
so few, and I am not talking about them. I have noticed
there are either a lot of bipolar people on the net or
they believe they are so anonymous that they truly wish
to show their true colors. Others seem to be lost and
expect you to find the 'light' for them. For what it's worth
I would like these people in particular to understand that
the web was meant as a help in communication and not
a means to cure insanity, self-esteem, marital problems
or make you more handsome / beautiful. Here is a for
instance, alright... some for instances of the strange things
we meet online in the Community alone:

BUT... first I would like to point out... I am online all the
time and ever watching the Forum. You cannot see me,
because along with me and a couple others we remain
invisible, but we do watch out for the spammers and those
who seem to get a kick out of acting out in multiple
personalities.

1. Someone joins the Community saying that they are
desperately anxious to talk about 'books', 'authors' and
the like, but instead post only in the fashion section. Hello,
do you know where the Books Board is or maybe you
really did not come for books, now did you?

2. Someone joins as 'female' and then as their post count
increases they become male?

3. Someone writes us a very angry or hateful Email complaining
about the rules and policies that they agreed to BEFORE
joining - oh but wait - they did not read it, and so that is our
fault? Similar to this is when they quote that it is their "right"
to do whatever they chose because it is a free "country". I
am not sure they know how ignorant that sounds coming
from an Email sent into cyberspace.

4. Someone writes a post and then keeps checking it over
and over and over again for a reply. Maybe they did not realize
that there are over 90,000 Topics and the 'one' they posted in
is not the only one in the world? Try posting in other Threads
and let us see that you can formulate more than one reply or
introduction.

5. This one is funny... the person who keeps threatening to
post in lots of Topics soon... and their post count is '2', their
activity rate is 5% and their Membership is already over
six months old.

6. One user recently joined and said they were looking for love**
because they could not find it from the people where they live?
So an International Discussion Community will give them more
love? (I** Romance)

7. What is the most annoying... you have all these bells and
whistles setup to ensure a user is temporarily mesmerized by
the constant appeal for constructive messages, and so forth
only to see someone join saying, "hey peeps, whatz up? "

Bible Search

The other day I was trying to use Bible Search and noticed that it was not working due to a security feature set on default for our new server. This has been fixed.

NOTE: If you ever encounter something not working or not showing responsive then please DO contact via Contact page as I may be unaware. Thanks in advance.

Error Page

The Error Page is now just like International Discussions in that you are greeted with a page with options instead of a female telling you a bunch of error code. Also, the error is automatically sent to me so you do not have to worry about reporting it.

Web Links & Guests

A few wise crack guests have been submitting sites that need approval anyway - that has been secured.
