'BALCONY RAPIST' MOVES AGAIN AFTER TV CREW FINDS HIM
The man known as the Balcony Rapist has moved for the second time in a week after a TV crew showed up on his doorstep in New Westminster, B.C. spurring warnings that the media attention may boost his risk of reoffending.

It sounds like the police had the best intentions, but I can't say that it was handled very well, spurring the rapist on to move into somebody elses' neighborhood.
The tv crew, acted irresponsibly in my opinion, and the problem that they have caused now is that the rapist has probably 'gone underground', and he is now going to be harder to route out, as he is going to have learnt to become even more devious to watch his own back.
Cases like this are very worrying whilst he is loose somewhere on the run, and people have no clue as to where he is.

Exactly how does one "reintegrate" a violent rapist into the community after 20 years in jail? Is he "rehabilitated"? (Do they even do that in the prison system anymore? )
What to do with him? Well, chasing him around with cameras isn't the way to go. In spite of what he's done, he still has the right to live his life.
I sure don't have the answer to this one. I wouldn't want the man living next door to me, but he has to live *somewhere*.
