Radio Frequency Identifier
A Radio Frequency Identifier allows someone to track a thing or person. It is a very small chip that can be inserted under the skin or attached to something. Then the person with a tracking device can know your location at any given time.
The question here is:
Would you agree with placing this on your car in case it is stolen? What about if the Police wanted to put this on trucks that should not be on the road at certain times?
This concept is already installed in some vehicles in the form of Lo-Jack or On-Star. These allow authorities to monitor a stolen vehicle's location. Using this to prevent vehicles from being started at all would be the next iteration, if it isn't already available. I suppose if the car is stolen, then shutting it off wouldn't be a bad idea. It might also help cut down on high-speed chases, etc. So long as there were regulations on the use of these services, then I wouldn't have a problem with it.
