Sorry, nothing intentional, maybe you just have not adjusted the screen resolution, please follow these directions:

I do not know if you are using XP but on most all Windows operating systems it is the same. I am interested in seeing you adjust it to at least: 1024x768. When you select that and press "Apply" you will get a popup asking if that is what you want. If it appears good confirm, if not leave it and it will automatically adjust back.

No need to apologize! I was just joking! Update. Well I followed your instructions, (which are always, simple, clear and easy to follow) and I did it. My resolution is now the 1024 x 768.

You know, this small font and tiny icons look very familiar. When my hubby and I purchased this computer, I remember seeing and complaining how small everything was (just like how this screen resolution is now). So I played around with it and discovered how to make everything larger. My hubby liked it and so did I, hence the reason why we continued to use 800 x 600 resolution since it was easy on the eyes. That was a long time ago and I forgot how to adjust it. But as you said, it's time for a change. Anyway, thanks a million for all your help and patience!

I think she just needs to invest in some glasses to help her see some of those small Icons. I wonder Geenie you do know you can switch out the small icons for larger icons on the desktop?

Yeah I know how to do that Kntoran. By the way, I do have glasses but I hate wearing them! Only when I cannot see properly, I would use them!

Greetings JB!

I noticed that you are upgrading the community and I must admit, the changes are fabulous! But I have a question: if someone starts a topic that was already discussed in the forum, why do you close the thread? Would it create more space for you to delete it altogether? I am just curious because I noticed that Persephone indicated that my topic was already discussed. Why not delete the thread and just post a message here saying that it was deleted because it has already been discussed?

Good question. We used to delete it before but then we realized it was more practical to redirect to the right place because someone else may be looking for the Topic using the words you placed and be directed to where the Discussion is located.

Actually that Topic was high in the Hot Topics list when you added yours., what you may want to do is look through all the Hot Topics for the day before adding, because we do tend to grab things as they happen. Sometimes we are a bit slow, but rarely.
