Child Yoga

Greater concentration - The breathing and inward focus that is a main component of any yoga practice can help your child learn to focus his mind more effectively. A number of studies have shown that many children who practice yoga, especially those with problems such as ADHD, are able to concentrate for longer periods of time.

Yoga Child

I believe that yoga would help children with ADHD, as it also teaches children to have a calmer attitude, gradually over time they learn to concentrate and relax a bit more.
I say this, because we took a group of children in care to a child yoga session weekly, and although only some of the children had ADHD, there were a whole other range of illnesses/disabilities with the 50 children that we took.
All but around 5 of them found it really beneficial, and most of the carers commented on what a difference it had made to the children.
I wouldn't recommend it as a quick cure, but over the 6 months that we went once a week to, there were certainly good improvements made.
