I don't think that this case should be compared to the Rodney King case, from what I have heard, this wasn't a racist attack, the police officer was acting like a thug, but it was coincidental that the woman was black. I think if the woman had been white the police officer would have still treated her in the same manner, it appears that he found the opportunity to manhandle somebody and took it. People like this don't care about the color of a persons skin, it's about the power they can yield over another person irrespective of their race or religion.
I'm not condoning the behavior in any way, and I personally think it's disgusting that any man should attack a woman or man in this manner, especially as they were drunk and unable to defend themselves.
