DOCTOR RATING WEBSITE STIRS UP PHYSICIANS

The Canadian Medical Association and the Canadian Medical Protective Association have asked a U.S.-based website that allows patients to post anonymous comments about physicians to remove ones they believe are defamatory.

I think the web site is a great Idea. If doctors where smart they would read it find out what their patients feel and think and adjust their practice to better accommodate their customers!

In my area Doctors act like the patient is their property and only if you act nice and play nice with them will they think about giving good service. There are good doctors but it seems most really do not care about anything but the monies.

I must admit the doctor I have presently is very dedicated and care about his clients and treats them like a client they are trying to keep. The previous one I had to yell at and fight with to get any real medical concerns looked at.

The lawsuit by the medical boards I would be afraid of as in Ontario the medical association is very rich and can afford long drawn out lawsuits.
