I was surprised to read that any airline would come close to Air Canada. I must say the competition has gotten even more fierce since 9-11, even in non-US countries. I personally have never flown WestJet, mostly because I haven't flown to Canada since I was 3 years old. However, if they start offering more flights to the US in the future, I may very well consider them when planning a trip to Canada.
