About 300 people have reported becoming sick after eating at an Olive Garden restaurant in northeast Indianapolis, a spokesman for the Marion County Health Department told CNN on Friday.

I was watching this on CNN the other night, really freaky. First the spinach, then Taco Bell, now Olive Garden, restaurants are dropping like flies. It makes me scared to eat out any more around here. Whats worse, I really like eating at Olive Garden, and now I have to wonder if its safe. Three hundred people at one restaurant is allot. At least I live in another state, even though it is in the midwest, not to far away and in the same large regional area.

It seems to be the greens. Remember that Olive Garden regularly goes around serving as much salad as you can eat, so everyone must have picked it up from there.

This too shall pass - people kept right on eating Wendy's chili after the finger incident, went right back to Taco Bell, right back to packaged spinach at the grocery stores, etc. I don't think there is any one particular restaurant that's any more dangerous than any other - it's where they buy their fresh produce!

Rather off topic, but...
It's just one more reason to grow your own food, if you can. Relying on mass produced food isn't so safe as it once was.

Oh no, what a disappointment. My two favorite places to eat: Taco Bell and Olive Garden are having problems with their greens. Three hundred people is a lot! It seems like is not safe to eat outside anymore.
