I think there's a definite leaning towards a green culture, and people are becoming more aware of green issues and recycling.
In England the message is definitely being pushed on kids, as you can't escape it on childrens tv, and also it is being taught throughout primary schools.

Of course there is such thing as a green culture. The world culture at large is becoming more and more a green culture. People are becoming more aware of the environment and making conscientious changes in their day to day life to be green. They are thinking beyond their immediate sphere and taking steps to make sure there is quality of life for future citizens of this earth. Some of it is a result of education and awareness. Some are making changes out of necessity due to rising costs of living. Regardless, there is a green culture that is a growing movement and all indications are it is here to stay.
