Hello All!
My name is Will and I am very interested in Indian culture and History. Indian History was a consistent part of my life growing up. My family and ancestors have a history working with the Navajo in Arizona, even though I grew up in Ohio. My Great-Grandma spent years living in Arizona and I have many Navajo rugs and pottery that she would bring back to me whenever she visited. I went to school at Miami University in Ohio (hence 'Miamian' being my username). My family often took trips to Serpent Mound in Ohio as well. Also, every summer my family took trips to Southern Ohio to see 'Tecumseh', the play that they stage that is so moving.
Which is why its even more ironic that now I live in Los Angeles and work for a company that makes Official Commemorative Indian Coins featuring specific Indian Tribes! Because of my passion for Native Americans, my company placed me in charge of the program and to develop it. I'd love to meet anyone who'd like to share their stories, or would like to talk about their Tribe or even have an official coin made with their Tribe. My 'job' is to help promote understanding between Tribes and American Citizens and help the Tribes financially, so any discussion about history or your Tribes Culture will only help me 'understand' my job better too!
Thanks!
