My goodness! Nothing makes me more angry and sick than to read horrible stories like this one of adults abusing children this way. I was afraid to open the link to this story but I did and the details are chilling. Like I always say: KILL THEM. Do not waste time in NO trial, just torture them to DEATH. Make them SUFFER to the last minute of their pathetic lives. I really HOPE (and please do not tell me anything eh!) that if they do not get the death penalty, somebody will take care of them at jail. Bastards! angry.gif

This raises a chilling fact: More children are abused and/or die at the hands of stepfathers than in "regular" families. Single mothers, beware of this! And don't aid and abet any man in mistreating or killing your children!

QUOTE
Results. Children residing in households with adults unrelated to them were 8 times more likely to die of maltreatment than children in households with 2 biological parents ... Risk of maltreatment death also was elevated for children residing with step, foster, or adoptive parents..., and in households with other adult relatives present .... Risk of maltreatment death was not increased for children living with only 1 biological parent.

Conclusions. Children living in households with 1 or more male adults that are not related to them are at increased risk for maltreatment injury death. This risk is not elevated for children living with a single parent, as long as no other adults live in the home.

Roz, sad enough in this case (and many others) the mothers of these kids have been part of the abuse. Yes, the kids seem to die in the hands of the men BUT the mothers...those who actually give birth to these babies were abusing the children too! They are as sick as the stepfathers!

That's the point, though - many of them wouldn't do it if the men in their lives wouldn't. It's sick and worse than sick that women will abuse their own children for the sake of having some *guy* in their lives.
