News flash! Don Imus is a Trinidadian! Just kidding! Well he might as well be considering he does not seem to be able to learn from his mistakes. I mentioned in a post dated 15 April 2007 that he was not the least bit sorry and was merely apologizing for the sake of damage control. And here he is again in the news, which merely highlights my old point! You would think being fired, would be a great way of learning from your mistakes but not for this guy! Perhaps he wants to see how fast he could get fired from this job? Break a record for being a loose cannon who dares to tempt fate!
I have to wonder, apart from the fact that he gets paid to be controversial, does he really have some deep rooted insecurity issues? Or is this a straight forward case of a guy having issues against certain races? I suppose the only person who could answer that would be Don Imus himself. Whatever the reason, I think he strikes me as someone who is very insecure and needs to feel good about himself by criticizing others. Or perhaps he suffers from the INA disease, that is, I NEED ATTENTION! Either that, or maybe he could be compared to a pot spoon: the guy just loves stirring up trouble!

This has really dropped off the radar on the news outlets. Listening to more than just the snippet that was reported in the media, he does seem to be eluding to this being more like a racial profiling issue or cops harrassing black athletes and not a racial slur. The snippet however was pretty provoking since he was just in trouble recently for the topic.
Honestly, it doesnt really matter with him. If he says something and gets fired, he will become more popular than ever and go to satellite radio with the likes of Howard Stern. In space, there is VERY little regulation. However, that is obviously a fallback position should he reacquire a sudden case of "foot'n mout disease".

That's unfortunate for him. Although I don't really care for the guy, I hope for his sake and his family that the surgery is successful. I wouldn't wish pain and suffering and death on him

Imus to Glenn: 'I hate everything about everybody'
Glenn and Dr. Keith's book tour rolled on this morning with a visit to the eternally jovial Don Imus, who during the interview told Glenn and Dr. Keith that he hated everything about everybody. Could Dr. Keith and The 7 work some magic in Don's worse-than-he-looks attitude? Ref. Source 5
