| 1 | tablespoon | butter | |
| 1/4 | cup | all-purpose flour | |
| 3 | cup | milk, low-fat (1%) | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | pepper | |
| 1 | nutmeg, pinch | ||
| 3/4 | cup | parmesan cheese, grated | |
| 1 | pound | fettuccine, cooked | |
Directions: | |||
| Melt butter. Add flour; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Whisk in milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Bring to boil, whisking; reduce and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Toss with cheese and cooked pasta. | |||
