Kids Antidepressants

This must be a very hard decision for parents. There are kids who are really mentally ill who have suicidal thoughts or that they tried to commit suicide before and I think if medications work then they should take it, it would be unwise to leave a child to deal with those type of thoughts. By the other hand, I read that a lot of these antidepressants make the symptoms even worst.
