2/3 c Molasses 1/2 c Sugar 1/2 c Shortening 1 ts Ginger 1 ts Cinnamon 1 ts Baking soda 2 c Sifted cake flour 1 c Sour milk 2 Eggs, beaten Heat first 5 ingredients to boiling, stirring constantly. Cool to lukewarm. Sift soda and flour together and add alternately with milk and eggs, beating thoroughly after each addition.
