Comments: I went to the Pompeii exhibit on Monday June 2nd. Wonderful I had written a report in 6th grade on Pompeii,1962, then in 1970 I was in Naples with a ship of the USCG, I rented a car with driver and went to Pompeii, it was closed due to a government strike. Very disappointed to say the least. Was in San Diego for my sons wedding, and found the exhibit. I went and was awed. After such a long wait to see something, I was struck by the reality of the exhibit, the artwork, the day to day utensils, the symbolism. Thank you for having this wonderful exhibit.
Natural History Museum raising prices, making cuts
The San Diego Natural History Museum in Balboa Park is raising all ticket prices by $1 and eliminating educational programs that serve about 10,000 people to help balance its $10.6 million annual budget. Ref. Source 3
