Fort Greely, nestled deep in the heart of the Alaskan wilderness, is home to the nation's front line in missile defense. Moran and veteran producer Ely Brown were allowed an exclusive look inside the Alaska National Guard's 49th Missile Defense Battalion control center to view the operations of field interceptor missiles that are designed to knock out incoming enemy ballistic missiles targeting the United States.
