Paying people to protect forests is worth it. A new study suggests that paying people to conserve their trees could be a highly cost-effective way to reduce deforestation and carbon emissions and should be a key part of the global strategy to fight climate change. The study sought to evaluate how effective 'Payments for Ecosystems' (PES) is at reducing deforestation. Source 6v.

I'm all for this. We are losing forests and jungles at an alarming rate and the variety of life that goes with them. This is bad for the world and very bad for us as a species. One day we may wake up and find out Earth isn't habitable any more.

The loss of forests has existed for a long time but modern machinery makes it a round the clock process and they are not planting fast enough to make up for it. People need to stop using trees we are in 2017!

Deforestation Politics Business Civil & History

I think a lot of people get it and understand that taking out trees is slowly making this planet toxic to us. The main issue is some companies are making very good profits taking out trees and do not plan to stop at all as long as they are making huge profits. This is where we need to make the change.
