Do you prefer to use China, Ceramic or Plastic plates in your home when dining casually?

Ceramic for the adults, but plastic for the kids, that way it cuts down on breakages!

Slightly off topic, but years ago a catering supplies company was shutting down near us and they were selling off hotel ware, in white. We bought a load, and I don't know what sort of ceramic it was made from, but with it being made for industry, it went on and on forever! We even dropped it by accident on concrete, and it bounced!

Stupidly I got rid of it because I was fed up with having the same pots, and since then have had to suffer replacing endless amounts of pots that just don't seem to last very long!

I like using glass, ceramic, or plastic plates. I always give kids the plastic plates of course. If I'm grabbing food to take with me in the car I take paper or other disposable plates. My grandpa uses disposable plates every day now so that he has less dishes to do. I don't mind washing dishes, but I think some people would rather live simply.
