It's possible, though I would say the darkness is more energy that conflicts with you rather than anything truly evil. Most people, sometimes me included when I'm not putting real thought to it, often equate discomfort with evil. Discomfort comes from either not being used to the situation/issue or just not liking it. That's not to say it can't or doesn't happen that a real evil is present. only that it takes practice and understanding that often requires the help of a mentor of sorts to sort it out if you are unsure.

Sometimes I feel like I can feel the dark energies. For me it is easier to feel the darkness than the light, am I correct in thinking that? |

I think a lot of people can read some thoughts a person has by the way they act, carry themselves and expressions. It does not always take a psychic to do this. Granted having an ability like that can not hurt. While I am not a firm believer in psychic ability I know there are those who believe and those who can read energies around people.
You are talking about body language and the power of suggestion but I think there isn't anyone that can read thoughts. I think what they read is history or patterns of the person's aura that leads them to what they may be thinking.

Please understand that psychic is a very broad term for a variety of abilities. What you are talking about it telekinesis, which is reading and sending of thoughts. I would say that is a rare form but possible for some psychics. |
QUOTE (ArrwynCliona) |
You may have typed too quickly, Amber. Telekinesis, as the word itself indicates, is the ability to move something with only your mind. What you meant to say is Telepathy. Which is both the ability to "read" or "plant" thoughts as well as the ability to sense what another person is feeling. Usually, however, in paranormal research sensing the emotions of another is called Empathy, just as it is in normal psychology. |
