An Iowa egg producer is recalling 228 million eggs after being linked to an outbreak of salmonella poisoning.

That's some recall! I hope that people get the message before they consume these possibly contaminated eggs!
At least they are acting as quickly as they can to stop the salmonella.

This is one reason why eggs must always be thoroughly cooked not eaten raw (shown on Rocky movies) or fried over easy because you can become contaminated. I have actually started to cut down eating eggs, of recent the smell just does not appeal to me anymore.
