Can Wolf Meat be eaten and what does it taste similar to?

I think that wolf meat can be eaten, but I've never eaten it, and don't believe that it is anything that I would remotely wish to eat!

We don't have wolves in England anyway, but even if we could access some wolf meat, you wouldn't catch me eating it!

Eskimos eat it and they say it taste just like chicken. It is actually considered a delicacy. Personally, I would not eat it unless someone fools me and tells me is chicken.

I find it funny that if you ask anyone what something tastes like they will always answer, "It tastes like chicken". I have not eaten wolf but I have eaten dog. Since a dog and wolf are both canines they will probably taste very simular. I doubt that wolf would be very tasty.

I think is more a matter of survival (eating wolf) than taste hence the Eskimos fighting such a terrible weather need as much as protein as they can get.

If you are talking survival then if it has four legs and fur it was meant to be eaten. Heck even some of those two legged feathered things were meant to be eaten too. If they were not meant to be eaten then why do they taste so good?

I would think yes wolf would be rough and strong and if any need to know, never eat raccoon less you have steel jaws.

My theory is Moses stepped of the Ark and god said you may eat of animal flesh. That is what he meant no reservations you are hungry kill it and eat it but not to let it lie to waste.

Rather off topic, but... KNtoran I must ask how was the dog? After seeing how they are killed by some I am thinking it would be tough and end up stewed or thin sliced and quick fry with noodle in spicy sauce.

If you have a person cook raccoon correctly it is very tastey indeed. Usualll you slow cook it for about 10 hours. Yes I believe if your going to eat something then eat it do not let it go to waste. I hunt for food only. I do not sport hunt.

Rather off topic, but... Dog is a very stringy meat but not as bad as cat is. Dog does usually taste better in a stew or with noodles or rice. Cat is usually served the same way. Neighbors need to control their pets better.
