More texts are sent out than phone calls in the Uk. I've only just learnt how to send a text , so before this I used to use my quota of phone calls and I used to let my Son use up my quota of texts.
I used to be on a pay as you go system, but have recently changed to a set monthly price that I can use whatever I want and if it goes over the monthly fee, they just bill you more for the following month.
This suits me, as I know that in an emergency, at least I know that I'll be able to make a call and not have to worry about having used all the pay as you go credit up!
Mobile customers 'waste billions'
Confusion about phone tariffs means users could be wasting £8bn a year, warns an online comparison service.
