Some people enjoy movies with a lot of action packed scenes. If there is a particular scene with someone being robbed, individuals may discuss with their peers, how they would have reacted and dealt with the situation. I decided to create this thread to determine, how well individuals cope under pressure and if unforeseen circumstances may cloud their judgement.
If you witnessed a woman's purse being snatched by a thief in broad daylight, do you think:
I) you would be able to identify the thief, in an Identification parade?
ii) How about if you actually tackled the thief but he got away, would you be able to identify him in an Identification parade?
iii) While giving the police a description of the thief, would remember the thief's race? Or would you provide generalized details such as what he was wearing, his height and hair colour?
What are your views on this?

If I saw that in daylight I would just shoot the idiot. Ok I am kidding.
I would try to prevent the theft if I was close enough Otherwise I would get a good description of the perp and write down what he is wearing, shirt, race, approx height, weight, skin color, anything that could help police track the person down. If I am quick enough I would take a pic of the perp with my camera phone.
I am very observant but then again that is my back ground. I would not hesitate to pick the perp out of a police line up(parade).
