KING HEROD'S TOMB
ABC's Wilf Dinnick is in the West Bank where archeologists believe they have unearthed the grave of King Herod the Great. Herod, who lived somewhere around the time of 40 B.C., was known and feared because of his murderous rampages that left trails of blood. However, Herod was also recognized as the king of construction, creating some of the most grandiose monuments in the region. Scholars and scientists are now digging around to learn more about this historical figure and what he left behind.
