Mid South Nationals Friday 13th

I saw a drag racer named Jerry entering the Mid South Nationals on of all days - Friday 13th. He had one of the worst crashes I have ever seen. He lived with a collapsed lung, broken ribs and series of other injuries. Has anyone ever seen that crash?
