The big gain was a whole city of women to keep pregnant so God's numbers would grow, and Dina would never be raped again. Since a city is 12,000 people, (Josue 8:25) I will estimate low, and guess that only one fourth of the citizens were grown men. 3000 died. |
The Old Testament of the Bible is loaded with 6 1/2 million deaths. Many were "honor" killings.
