Do you know anyone with Cataplexy? Cataplexy is a condition in which the brain shuts down motor functions and the person becomes as if they are dead, but they are not. All the while the person in a Cataplexy state is fully aware of what is going on around them.

People often wake up in morgues because of the extreme forms of Cataplexy. When they go 'out' they really become as though they are 'dead'. I hope scientists find a cure because the person really cannot function on their own in case they go 'out' in the wrong place.
