MICROSOFT SETS LAUNCH DATE FOR 'HALO 3'

Microsoft Corp. said Tuesday it will release its "Halo 3" video game on September 25, a hugely anticipated event that the software giant hopes will help drive sales of its Xbox 360 gaming console.

Not long now for Halo 3, how many people will be playing over xbox live?

I sold my 360 months back mainly due to getting married and needing the money, but my main reason for getting one was for Halo 3, so I will be getting a new one soon a mere 3months now I believe, if it has not been delayed even further.
I have not read any reviews I like to be surprised and discover things as I play rather then know what the story line will be, who I will be fighting and what guns do. before I'm there to experience it.
Is anyone else like this?

Needless to say, Halo 3 will be huge. At E3, Microsoft even announced a special edition Halo 3-themed Xbox 360! So if you own a 360, you're probably planning to buy the game whether it wins critical nods or not. Matt Peckham, who writes PC World's GameOn blog was pretty disappointed with the multiplayer beta, but--like you--we're all holding out hope that the story and solo gameplay turn out to be as diverting as the original was back in 2001.

Not too long now, I'm counting down the days.
A Halo Themed 360, now that is appealing.

The second Halo was a big disappointment story wise, But the multiplayer was incredible, hopefully now they will combine the 2 with better graphics and blow me away.

I have played the Halo 3 beta and it was in one word phenomenal I had all of the 3g's I love in games Graphics, guns and Gizmos. The story line from what I've seen is great and multi-player (where I spent a lot of my time) is insane there are so many additions its crazy.
