1 c All-purpose flour

1/2 c Butter or margarine;

-softened 1/4 c Powdered sugar

1 c Granulated sugar

2 Eggs

2 tb Flour

2 ts Lime peel; grated

2 tb Lime juice

1/2 ts Baking powder

1/4 ts Salt

2 dr Green food coloring; (2 to

-3) Recipe by: CHRISTMAS COOKBOOK Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, margarine and powdered sugar. Press in ungreased baking pan, 8x8x2 or 9x9x2", building up 1/2" edges. Bake 20 min. Beat remaining ingredients until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes; pour over baked layer. Bake until no indentation remains when touched in center; about 25 min. Cool; sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Cut into 1" squares.
