The first birth-control pill meant to put a stop to women's monthly periods indefinitely won federal approval Tuesday.

I think it's going to take a few years to truly see what the effects of this drug are. It sounds good in theory, and I hope that they are onto something good, but the high percentage of women dropping out of the trials speaks volumes to me about the reality of how good this pill actually is.
