I say you want to race in the street then you deserve what you get crush the car! If you hit them where it count then it might help but more so why not stiffen up the traffic act by banning cars with very specific gear ratios and motors output not to mention why can any Joe blow by parts to make these highly tunned machines?

I really think things are getting out of hand and the politicians do need to sit up and start using their noodle to give a safe house for these kids to race after all it is fun and they are better doing this then drugs. But the street is not the place.

I realize some will race the street for the buzz they get and they do need to be nailed.

But the city could designate some areas for this activity and specify safety gear required ie roll bars safety tanks ect. 90% would likely comply the last 10 % nail to the wall.

If it the thrill they get thinking cars or people could interfere then set up a spot where wood figures could be rolled out in the path to dodge while racing. Old airports or reinstate some of the abandoned roads and old race strips that are no longer in use.

Some thing needs to be done as their is too much traffic on the roads.
