A suicide bomber on board a passenger van south of the Lebanese capital killed one person and wounded at least three others, security sources said. The bomber detonated his explosives device after boarding the van that was on a road leading to the town of Choueifat, the sources said. The van exploded meters from a local gasoline station. Ref. A suicide bomber blew himself up Friday morning at a police checkpoint on the Beirut-Damascus highway in east Lebanon, killing one police officer and wounding 32 people. General Security head Maj.
