Utah - They were wide-eyed 21-year-olds fresh off LDS missions to Ukraine when they asked family, businesses, and acquaintances for donations and flew right back to Ukraine to buy food, medicine, clothing, toys, and candy for needy orphans. That was seven years ago. And they're still doing it.

Salt Lake City | Saturday, 1 March 2014 00:00:00 -0700 | The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released the following statement today regarding missionaries serving in Ukraine: Due to civil unrest, 23 missionaries serving in the Ukraine Dnepropetrovsk Mission have been removed from the Crimean peninsula and transferred to other areas within the mission as a precautionary measure.

LDS Church to reassign missionaries serving in, formerly assigned to Ukraine
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Friday that 67 missionaries formerly serving in the Ukraine Donetsk Mission who had previously been transferred to other areas in the country will be reassigned to missions in their home countries, while 41 missionaries slated for service in Ukraine have been reassigned to other missions.
