The test car was a 2009 S model with about 4,000 miles. It had issues:
"¢A creaky top. Probably due to its status as both a "very, very early production, borderline preproduction" model and a slam-bammed media test car, says Vincent Kung, Mini product manager.
"¢The driver's safety belt wouldn't retract properly when taken off, so it often got caught in the driver's door. Ditto on the reason, Kung says.
