Too Much Of Anything

Too Much Of Anything

Do you think the old adage of "Too Much Of Anything Can Be Bad For You" really does apply to anything at all or just somethings?

I think that it applies to a lot of things, I'd even go as far as saying most things, but I don't think that anyone can get enough of people being kind or nice to them, or even showing simple acts of love.

Maybe this saying applies more to materialistic things, which I can fully agree that you would either start taking things for granted, or care less, as you've got too much.

The question asks for a closed statement. This is something philosophers should shy away from, but I'm willing to stick my neck out on this one...

"Too much of anything"?

Yep! take a break! A change is as good as a vacation, so the saying goes.

And I kid you not. "Anything" can be interpreted as.... music tastes, relationships, food, work, where you socialise, who you socialise with, TV habits... everything!

Step out of your comfort zone, and you'll discover a whole new world... from here, you'll discover new pathways of thought.

Gonna wear those jeans again? Try wearing a kilt. You'll discover draughts and peculiar looks, but it's fun!

When one considers these do you think it applies:

Love, Self-Mastery or Health

Or in other words can you have too much of the above?
