Special Needs Child In A Small Place
Can you imagine living in a compact place with a Special Needs child? Let us say that Need is based on ADHD and the place you live in does not have a lot of room and then you will get a better picture of what I am talking about. Another aspect is this... suppose you have enough room, but it is an apartment building where sound is not so well covered?
Here is an example. When Felipe was born we were in the USA renting an apartment. Now, if you know how apartments / houses are in the US you will know that the floors are made of wood and the walls sometimes of the same material. This means if your neighbor in the other apartment puts their radio up loud enough you can hear it or worst yet, if they drop things on the floor you can hear the thump easily.
How would you deal with such a situation? You will say move right? Suppose you cannot? Most cities do not have houses to rent, they are usually apartments. Do you have any experiences to share?
