| 1 1/2 | pound | pork sausage meat | |
| 3/4 | cup | quaker oats, uncooked (quick or old-fashioned) | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/2 | cup | apple, chopped | |
| 1/4 | cup | onion, chopped | |
| 1 | tablespoon | parsley, finely chopped | |
| 1/2 | cup | milk | |
