I was watching a documentary that claimed Norway Rats (bigger than the regular rats) are extremly good swimmers and often venture into sewer lines. They can swim right into and out of your toilet and then bite the weakest of the home like your baby! There was even one incident reported of a baby dying from being bitten.

If a rat slam up my pipes and entered my home there would be a interesting fight. Our little dog would have a heyday with the rat. I am sure that the rat would not survive as one of my swords would put it to a quick end after the noise would make me investigate it.

Thats absolutely disgusting but is that really true? I thought toilets have a flap on it to prevent anything from the sewer getting in? In any case having a rat that big in a room is just too scary to think about.
